IRA INGBER

Ira Ingber is a guitarist, singer, producer, studio engineer and composer based in Los Angeles.

​

Having worked with musicians such as Captain Beefheart, Lowell George, J.D. Souther, Karla Bonoff, Jennifer Warnes, Andrew Gold, Bonnie Raitt and Bob Dylan, Ira has navigated numerous aspects of the music industry since his teenage years.

​

A long working relationship with Van Dyke Parks resulted in Ira’s career opening up to performing and composing for film, television, record and commercial projects including the Howard Stern movie Private Parts, the Robert Altman-directed The Company, and the Brian Wilson/Van Dyke Parks album Orange Crate Art, among many others. 

 

Ira performed, mixed and mastered Van Dyke’s acclaimed album, “Songs Cycled”, and their work on the “Charm School” single that followed went on to receive international acclaim.

Ira's guitar work is featured in "Midnight Run", “Eureka”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “The Walking Dead”, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, and more.

Ira has composed and performed numerous original scores and songs for film, television and commercials.

Reuniting with Bob Dylan, his guitar playing can be heard on the 2023 LP “Shadow Kingdom.”

Ira continues to perform in clubs throughout Los Angeles with jackiO.
